I am originally from Spain and I hold a Master in Journalism and Media Studies from Complutense University, Madrid. In 2003, I moved to New York City, then to Connecticut and ultimately to Massachusetts, where I am based now. So far it's been a great journey up the East Coast.
Film and writing are my passions. I have worked in the television and film industries as a script consultant, screenwriter, line producer and outreach director for almost 20 years.
I design and implement successful outreach and audience engagement campaigns for documentary films, and I am an expert event organizer and manager for arts-related festivals and happenings. I have led outreach efforts for some great films, including Emmy-nominated, PBS/POV documentary Traces of the Trade: A Story from the Deep North, award-winning historical documentary Rebel and groundbreaking 1913 Seeds of Conflict.
I believe in the power of stories to inspire and transform. I understand the importance of getting documentary films out to wide audiences and to extend their life through creative strategies.
From social media presence to live screenings and institutional partnerships, I design strong campaigns that reach a wide range of audiences, generate public debate, educate and boost media attention. Click HERE to learn more or CONTACT me about your next project.
I also freelance as a writer, screenwriter, translator and Spanish language editor/proofreader. I have worked for a variety of industries including non-profit, government, film and education. Go to TRANSLATION to learn more about my work and check my availability.
